The goal is to encourage applicants to advance long-duration energy storage to meet the growing need for clean, reliable, efficient, cost-effective energy. The two voucher opportunities will offer OE technical assistance in two areas of interest: ▪️ The Long-Duration Energy Storage Technology Acceleration voucher will aid technology developers of Long-Duration Energy Storage (LDES). ▪️ The Long-Duration Energy Storage Community Development voucher will aid communities or other entities interested in deploying storage for the first time. Funded by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Vehicle Technologies Office through the Technology Commercialization Fund (TCF) in 2016, the team advanced their tech readiness, secured patents, and published three papers.
